How difficult is it to find the dvd key. Only mods I did was a hotswap in gta iv. Now I too am looking into iso with xkey simply because gta online is always updated unlike gta iv where a simple hotswap was all you needed All I know is that it involves removing the disc drive from your xbox and plugging it into the PC through a sata port. Then you gotta open da l33t haxor program and let the magic happen. I wanna get an xkey too so I don't have to buy anymore 360games since I have the xbone. Just don't wanna risk having a permanent account ban. I cri erytim when my old main got banned. Stupid bo2 hacks. I did it the easy way and had the place where I got the xk3y install it for me. They had to RGH it first then take the RGH back off. Extract the DVD while theyre at it. Wouldve cost me £25 to buy the stuff I needed to do it myself or £50 not to worry about the hassle. Id recommend an xk3y to all the crew. If you get banned, big deal, start a new account, its worth it.

It all depends on what drive you have and wether it's a phat or slim, Cause the slim drives are write protected. The only real mess around is the lite on as you need to probe it, it's easy to probe but you have to buy one or start cutting cables thus risking your drive cables. Ive flashed quite a thew drives so if anyone needs any help just drop me a PM and I'll help best I can! And seeing as this is my first introductionary post, Hi Modified Crew! I'm OCD, I have around 4 years ISO modding experience, I know how to flash drives and I have a Falcon JTAG and a Old xenon!, I've got quite a bit on programming experience and have coded a couple of GTA IV menus from Three-Socks menu bases! if anyone needs any help with my knowledge Drop me a message anytime!

That won't be possible on a retail as far as I'm aware, Well if it involves taking pieces from the DLC file, As on a retail Xbox the DLC need to be signed by Microsoft and if you replace a file in the DLC File it breaks Microsofts little seal of approval thus corrupting it to the retail. EDIT- Just noticed your on PS3, Which Im guessing is still moddable. You can still edit all of your weapons (non dlc also) via mp_independence

Any changing of the DLC content files on Xbox Will cause them to be corrupted on Retail, Unless there has been a work-around Thats how it Stands or Stood, Ill check it out later on but im almost 100% certain that, Thats the case, Nice find anyways though That won't be possible on a retail as far as I'm aware, Well if it involves taking pieces from the DLC file, As on a retail Xbox the DLC need to be signed by Microsoft and if you replace a file in the DLC File it breaks Microsofts little seal of approval thus corrupting it to the retail. Nope not under any circumstances, Unless you manage to Replace the Signature Which is near Impossible unless you work for the Xbox Team... So you're saying we can do this online with an xk3y CJ?

What did this bit mean Cj?
most of the files within mp_independence are not CRC checked (Xbox and PS3)
If you wish to edit your DLC files on Xbox use 'Lefluffie' // For PS3 use Edat True Ancestor for decrypting/encrypting
Le fluffier is for profile editing. How could this help modding?

A CRC check, In GTA Checks the Filesize/Checksum of a File and If it doesn't match the original CRC it will either Throw Incompatible Assets at You or Just Full on Hard Freeze. Also Le Fluffie Can be Used to Edit DLC packages, Then Re-Sign for Use on RGH/JTAG, Just like you Extract the Save000#.sav From a GTA Save in Horizon, Exept its all the Files for the DLC like a Seperate Common Basically with all the Handling files and IMG files for the New cars and Guns. Sorry to Burst Your Bubble but it is what it is What did this bit mean Cj? most of the files within mp_independence are not CRC checked (Xbox and PS3) If you wish to edit your DLC files on Xbox use 'Lefluffie' // For PS3 use Edat True Ancestor for decrypting/encrypting Le fluffier is for profile editing.
