This tutorial is to allow you to change the license plates on your cars to Yankton plates, without having to SP-MP them into online. It will also allow you to unlock any car upgrades you might want, turbo engine upgrades, brakes regardless of rank or how many races or turbo boosts you've done. You can also change the colour of the sovereign bike with this method.
This tutorial is different from Silverfoxs method as once set up takes a few seconds to perform and doesnt use Bluestacks or the other programs used in Silverfoxs method.
This tutorial assumes that you have a smartphone. Either a iPhone or Android. And a PC or even a MAC laptop. I normally use macs but do this on PC.
You need iFruit, Charles Web Debugging Proxi and GTA V.
If you find any steps are un-necessary, let me know and Ill edit them out.
step 1. - Download iFruit to smartphone from App Store
step 2 - Download charles to laptop - www.charlesproxy.com/download/ (Free 30 day trial Mac or PC)
Trial is limited to 30 mins which is more than long enough for your needs, but if you're gonna use Charles often, buy it.
step 3. - on iPhone go to wifi settings and set http proxy to manual
in the server - put the ip address of your laptop.
(This can be found in charles under help - Local IP address) pictured below.
port is - 8888
step 4. - In the game get in the car and drive it down to LSC
step 5. - on iPhone go to iFruit app and click on LSC
step 6. -select your online character and swipe right to get to the car you want to apply the plate to.
step 7. -Click on plates in iFruit and change the background colour of the plate.
If you don't already have a private plate in the game read below.
If you dont have a private plate already in the game, it isn't a hassle, just click on the plate in iFruit and choose a custom plate. It must be 8 characters and no-one else can have the plate. If it comes to it, use anything coz you'll be changing it over to whatever you want shortly anyway.
step 8. -Click customise at the bottom of iFruit
step 9. -Click order on iFruit.
step 10.- accept order, in the game you’ll get a text asking you to go to LSC to pick up your order. Ignore it. Place an order for another plate, It'll say you've got a pending order, overwrite it. again ignore this one too. Now order a third one. Ignore it too and order a fourth.
step 11. - Now the hard (er) plant… -on charles expand the folder -
prod.ros.rockstargames443 - cloud - 11- cloud services - members - yourmemberID - GTA5 - car.
In there will be two tickets. Right- click the ticket and edit. The ticket part looks like this -
You'll have four tickets. Choose the top one.
On the right hand side of charles click text and you’ll see the code. The bits you’re interested in now is carPlateText::”YOURPLATE”,9”:”4”. The last number will be from 1-4.
Change this number to 5 for North Yankton plates and change the YOURPLATE part to whatever you want it to be. It will look like this
Once you’ve done that click execute on charles and that will send another order, the last one.
Now you’ll get a text in game telling you to go to LSC and collect your order,
this time go and collect it for your custom North Yankton plates…
If this doesn't work for whatever reason then, enable breakpoints.
Go to the ticket at the top of the list and edit that. then execute.
You'll get a text in the game saying to go collect your order, all without using IFruit at this point.
Go and collect this and it will definitely be the Yankton plate this time.
Though to be honest it ALWAYS works when doing the 4 texts first.
You can also use this method to upgrade your car without having done any races. Will still cost you for the upgrades but handy if its like for a second character and you can’t be bothered doing all the races again. thanks to Silverfox's new tutorial on the subject I now have the codes for the rest of the options, like paint and tyre smoke.
If you don't want to change these and just change the plates then ignore this part.
You still have to pay for these parts.

All this extra info has kindly been copied with Silverfoxs' permission from his tutorial.
The upgrades work a treat and are very easy to do once you get used to it.
So to change a sovereign to chrome you'd change number 7 and number 8 to "14" and change 67 and 68 to "4".
Thanks to Silver Fox for his tutorials which started me getting my head round this stuff.
Also saw youtube videos, all of which gave me a wee part of this method. There are a few different tutorials out there, but some either don’t work for me or some parts don’t work.
Like I can’t get Bluestacks to work properly. So this tutorial is the method Ive found that works for me.
It seems a bit simpler than some of the other methods Ive seen. Hopefully will be helpful for some.
You can also use this to change plates for your friends. With their R* SC ID you can log in as them and change their cars or plates too.
Enjoy.
