So who's got/played this? What are you thoughts on it so far.

I'm about to finish up ACT 2. I think there are about 5 ACTS. In my opinion, the single player is AMAZING! I haven't played the online too much, but I did play some races. Everyone that is looking into getting Watchdogs on last gen consoles needs to be aware that it has no online free roam and that people say the viewing distance is awful. I have not encountered any of these issues on the xbox one though...

I got my copy for Xbox 360 yesterday. I played it on my friend's Xbox One, and once again with these cross-gen games, the difference in graphics isn't even substantial. Same happened with Titanfall, it's all details and such.
The driving is really stupid, but you get used to it with use of the handbrake and such. The collision physics are absolutely ridiculous though and extremely unrealistic. They feel like Saints Row, where whatever car you get inside suddenly the mass multiplies by like 500% since you can plow through pedestrian cars with such ease. It's nothing bad, it just breaks some of the realism of the game.
Not being able to shoot while driving is kinda ridiculous. I understand they are trying to encourage players to really use the hacking/environment to their advantage, but it makes me impatient. The Ps3 and Xbox 360 versions not only don't have free roam, but also do not have the 4v4 Decryption mode where two teams fight over a file. I thought this was a little wack at first, but I really have no desire to free roam, especially since I have no one to play with on 360. The Decryption mode is a really cool concept, but after playing it on my friend's Xbox One, again the inability to shoot and drive is really shitty. If the enemy team has the file and they are in a vehicle, vehicle chases just become spamming X to hack shit, hoping you get lucky and trying to ram them, lol it's just wacky.
So the lack of those modes really don't bother me as I'm just happy that Invasion 1v1 hacking is on 360 and Ps3, as it's just an awesome mode. I've hacked my first person and damn it was hilarious. I chose to disguise myself on foot, walking casually among pedestrians. When it reached 95% or so, he was literally right next to me so I had to keep my cool, walking casually in a path a pedestrian would take and I finished hacking him, getting the backdoor.
The story so far is decent, but I'm really enjoying all the side quests and such. I also like the map a lot more than GTAV's since it's smaller, but a lot more urban so there is way more detail and such. So overall it's a pretty sweet game so far, but it's nothing that it was hyped up to be. The hacking is super simplified, it's literally just holding X to hack things, lmao. I like Aiden so far. I think I'll be enjoying the single player/story a lot more than GTAV's story. The aiming system is also extremely easy to use, meaning shooting everyone is a lot easier than playing the game stealthily.
So in the end, would I recommend it? I honestly don't know, as this game seems to be loved by some, and hated by others. When I bought it I felt like I was gambling, fearing that I would dislike it like many do. So if you're unsure, either take the chance or wait for a price drop. It's good on both console generations. I don't think free roam and decryption are that big of a deal, especially since Watch Dogs just seems like a game more geared towards the single player which is why there are few multiplayer modes, with no aspects of customization and such that GTAO has.

nice review Bio, I am glad I didn't buy it, no free roam!? Apparently the free roam really isn't anything to write home about. I heard really the only thing there is to do is shoot cops with each other, but like I said it's all I heard. I beat the game yesterday and I have to say I was disappointed with the ending. It just seems like a lot of build-up for a really simple ending scene. It wasn't bad, just meh. Now that I've beaten the game entirely I can say that it's a solid 9/10. Only real issue I have with the game is that some of the side missions and collectibles are pretty much the opposite of fun, especially the ones where you have to deliver a car from Point A to Point B. Aiden Pearce is an amazing character though, definitely one of my new favorite video game protagonists. He's a character that you can really root for since he's Avenging the death of his niece
(You find this out at the very beginning of the game, so not even sure it deserves to be put in a spoiler tag lol) He can be very dark and aggressive at times, kind of like if Batman killed people, and showed absolutely no mercy. Aiden simply does not give a flying fuck what he has to do in order to achieve his goals, which makes him extremely awesome.
