It's being overhyped, imho. Only version that deserves all the hype is PC.

Here is my copy/paste response on this topic that I put on gtaf: So after hearing that R* is going to bring GTA V to the next gen consoles/pc with "more content"/better graphics (still no mention of heists) it got me thinking. Obviously R* knew they were going to launch the game... but they could have released it for all consoles at once by postponing the game for 1 more year. I think that the R* did this on purpose so that they could basically get all of our money and still be testing the game/the community to see how it pans out. I don't think I would have bought GTA V for $60 on Xbox 360 just to play it knowing a better version would come out for PC a year later. I can't believe what R* says anymore so as far as I am concerned GTA V on the next gen consoles will be exactly the same and so will GTA O. I think this because R* knows that they have all the people wanting more out of the game and we know what kind of potential the game has but R* chooses not to enable these features. I won't be buying GTA V again for any console.

I loved gta 3, vice city, and San Andreas for PC. I was always modding them, swapping in different cars, etc. But then the novelty of that wore off because the games used to crash all the time on pc (modded or unmoved - and my pc was up to the task of running the games). I just got fed up, bought gta iv for my college roommate's Ps3, and found that the game had very few problems. Then when I moved out on my own to start law school, I bought my Xbox 360 specifically for Forza and Gta IV (obviously followed by GTA V). I just don't think I can get back into it on pc (even though my media center pc is overbuilt and will definitely run it), and I'm sure as hell not spending the dough they want for an Xbox One right now.
TL;DR: I'm not going to play GTA V or Online on PC or a next Gen console because next gen consoles are too expensive and I always had problems with the pc versions.
Sent from my Galaxy S3, so please excuse any typos!

First things first....I haven't been here in a fuckkkkkking long time and I am sorry but I needed the break from GTA V I may get back on it once heist come in. Now with that out of the way here is what I think about the next gen/pc announcement
Now I love GTA and I will support them SO LONG as they don't turn into Crapcom, but I can't really be super hyped for this because of a few reasons. One? I don't have a ps4 yet and I don't think I will be getting one any time soon unless I find a job between now and the holidays. Two, I have done every single thing there is to do in the 360 version what more can I do on the next gen? Now I will admit them letting you carry over your progress to the next gen is pretty sick but what if a player is like me? They have 360 but they are jumping ship to ps4 how is that going to work when it is time to transfer our stuff? I am in no way knocking R* but after everything it seems like everyone was right the last gen people were just beta testers for the next gen which sucks but hey that's just the way it is I guess. I just wonder are they going to give away all of that one time dlc for free to the next gen players?

360 players can transfer progress to PS4, and Ps3 players can transfer progress to Xbox One.
Since they said you can transfer progress to "the next gen console of your choosing."
