Bungie just announced their newest challenge in the Destiny universe: Raids. This massive challenge is a cooperative effort that does NOT have a matchmaking system. As in, you can only play this with your fellow Guardian friendlies (friends). Bungie has compared them to cooperative Strikes in matchmaking, saying they will may take hours to complete, as opposed to the hour or so it may take to complete a Strike. From the sound of their info, rewards may also be exclusive to the Raid gametype. They recommend a Fireteam of 6 highly experienced and dedicated players, as Raids will be time consuming and progressively difficult as you make your way through the Raids. Bungie suggests this will require massive amounts of cooperation between your Fireteam members. www.inquisitr.com/1383141/destiny-raids-require-you-to-bring-a-friend-and-have-plenty-of-spare-time/Upon release, if anyone on the 360 is willing to join my Fireteam to attempt these Raids, reply here or message me on Xbox

So from the sounds of it most people who are buying this will have it on the 360? I have it preordered for the PS4 and thinking about getting it for the One instead, but now I might just have to get it for the 360 and the One. I wonder if progress and all that transfers between systems? I loved the beta and i will definitely be picking up the game so count me in for this.

I believe it transfers between generations, as brettsmods was talking about how his beta characters and progress transfered between his Xbox One and his Xbox 360.
